Backpack or pannier? Both! The Vaude Cycle 28 II is the ideal companion for commuters who want to secure their bag to their bike whilst cycling, but then carry it comfortably as a backpack on the train, bus or to university. The bag is secured to the luggage rack using lockable QMR hooks (e.g. Abus 145/20, not included) and can be converted into a rucksack in no time at all. To do this, open the two vertical zips and stow the entire mounting system in a compartment secured with Velcro. Illustrated instructions on a sewn-in label make the conversion process easy.

This clever backpack-and-pannier combination also offers plenty of storage space: the significantly larger main compartment compared to the Cycle 20 can hold A4 documents, a water bottle, a packed lunch or a change of clothes. A separate, padded zipped compartment protects laptops up to 15.6''. On the front is a diagonal compartment with a mesh organiser for a mobile phone, keys and a wallet, complemented by a flat mesh pocket for magazines or wet clothes. Two side compression straps, a helmet holder and stylishly integrated reflective elements complete the features.

The main material is made from 50% recycled polyester, whilst the contrasting material is 100% recycled. The Cycle 28 II features EcoFinish PFC-free water-repellent treatment and bears the Vaude Green Shape label, which stands for environmentally friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.
