We aim to make a small contribution by prioritising sustainable products in our range and presenting and labelling them accordingly.
Choose your destination wisely
Your choice of destination and mode of transport have a far greater impact than your travel gear. The good news is that you don’t have to get on a plane to enjoy a fantastic holiday. Germany and Europe offer destinations for wellness holidays, adventure trips, hiking tours and much more. With our luggage, you’ll be flexible and can travel without putting too much strain on the environment by flying. Within Germany, you can reach everything comfortably by train or car. The same applies to most destinations in Europe.
Recycled or recyclable
When products are made from materials that have already been used, they are referred to as recycled products. Examples of such raw materials include PET bottles, from which polyester yarn is produced. A product is recyclable if, at the end of its product life cycle, it can still be reused in some form or composted.
Long-lasting
A product is durable if it is made from robust materials and constructed to a high standard. It should also remain fashionable for a long time thanks to its timeless design. Such products are highly durable and therefore help to protect the environment.
Made in Germany
Products manufactured entirely in Germany reduce CO2 emissions thanks to significantly shorter transport distances. This also creates jobs in Germany, which is why we are keen to support the ‘Made in Germany’ label.
Responsible production
By responsible production, we mean that products are manufactured in a way that conserves resources. This includes, for example, manufacturing from renewable raw materials and reducing electricity and water consumption.
Certifications
We prefer to work with producers whose products have certifications. These are available in various areas of sustainability. For example, low-toxicity, vegan or organic products can be certified.
