The backpack can be easily opened and closed at the top with one hand using a drawstring closure, or you can use the side zip for quick access. The base is reinforced and there are two mesh pockets on the sides for drinks or an umbrella. You can stow your mobile phone or wallet in a small slip pocket at the front of the rucksack.
