As an outdoor equipment supplier, Deuter takes its responsibility to treat nature with respect and care very seriously. All manufacturing processes are therefore optimised in accordance with the bluesign® standard, the world’s strictest environmental standard for textile products. To ensure species-appropriate husbandry and animal welfare throughout the supply chain, Deuter has been using only certified down and feathers since June 2015. High labour and social standards – not only within the company itself, but also amongst its suppliers – form a central pillar of the company’s philosophy. That is why, since 2011, Deuter has been working with the internationally active Fear Wear Foundation, which campaigns to improve working conditions in the clothing and textile industry.
