As an outdoor outfitter, Deuter takes the responsible and careful treatment of nature very seriously. All manufacturing processes are therefore optimised in accordance with the bluesign® standard, the world's strictest environmental standard for textile products. To ensure species-appropriate husbandry and animal welfare in the supply chain, Deuter has only used certified down and feathers since June 2015. High labour and social standards - not only in the company's own operations, but also at its suppliers - are also a central pillar of the company philosophy. For this reason, Deuter has been working with the internationally active Fear Wear Foundation since 2011, which is committed to improving working conditions in the clothing and textile industry.
