Doughnut – "Pack Your Dream"
Rex Yam founded the rucksack brand Doughnut together with his business partner Stephen Cheng in Hong Kong in 2010. The pair started with an online shop before opening a high-street shop in Sham Shui Po in 2013. The Doughnut brand is now established throughout Asia and has a strong presence in Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, mainland China and neighbouring countries. Since 2015, Doughnut has also been represented in the US and the EU and now has 10 distribution partners across the region.
In its own factory, Doughnut produces exclusively handmade, high-quality bags and accessories in small batches to ensure that the quality of the products is unrivalled. The company insists that every step is carried out by its own team, with attention paid to every detail. From the design concept right down to the zip pull, every product is guaranteed to be not just good, but of the very best quality. The entire Doughnut Collection perfectly embodies the design concept of ‘integrating fashion and functionality’.
