What should women look out for when choosing a backpack?
Ergonomics and comfort play an important role in a backpack - whether for men or women. Women's backpacks therefore differ from men's backpacks primarily in terms of their size, fit and carrying systems. On average, women are smaller than men and the ratio of leg length to back length is different. A women's backpack should therefore have a shorter back section. The carrying straps should be narrower and have a strong S-shape due to the narrower shoulders. Any chest strap should be higher than on a men's backpack. Hip straps are usually more heavily padded and positioned in such a way that they distribute the weight well over the usually wider hip bones. For backpacks for everyday use or the office, other criteria such as a laptop compartment or simply a stylish look naturally play a role.

Which women's backpack is right for me?
To find out which women's backpack is right for you, a few individual factors play a role.
First of all, it is important to be clear about the occasion for which you need a women's backpack. You have a large selection of models in different sizes and made from different materials. You can choose a suitable backpack depending on the occasion.
Once you have narrowed down the selection by occasion, it also depends on your personal height and shape as to which women's backpack is suitable for you. When buying, make sure that the size of the backpack fits your back perfectly. The carrying system can usually be modified and adapted to your individual circumstances.
To test whether a backpack fits you, you should fill it as heavily as possible and then carry it on your back for a while. You will instinctively feel whether it fits properly. Large travel backpacks or hiking backpacks for women, for example, should always sit in such a way that some of the weight is transferred to the hips. The straps must therefore be at an optimum height, especially there.
Smaller rucksacks for everyday use do not necessarily have to fit perfectly on the back. However, they should not cut in or pinch anywhere and should be comfortable to wear overall.
