A company with a history
It was István Benák who founded Belmil as a family business in 1965. Initially, he only produced leather belts. But soon a new business idea was added: bags were manufactured. To this day, the company has continued to develop and now consists of two divisions. One division produces sports, cycling and promotional bags, whilst the other is dedicated exclusively to the manufacture of high-quality, ergonomic school bags. Belmil is the brand name under which the school bags are sold. The family business’s headquarters are located in Serbia, near the Hungarian border. From there, the school bags are sold all over the world – to 24 countries, to be precise. Belmil now employs over 200 staff and has its own warehouses and production facilities. Innovation is at the heart of the school bag production process. State-of-the-art machinery, sophisticated production tools and skilled staff ensure the competitive manufacture of all products. During production, emphasis is placed on minimising waste and maximising productivity.
