British Airways G-CIVD Boeing 747 Key Ring

This impressive piece of aluminium comes from a British Airways Boeing 747-400 with the registration G-CIVD. The aircraft made its maiden flight on 23 November 1994 and was delivered to British Airways on 14 December 1994. Powered by four Rolls-Royce RB211-524G turbofan engines, G-CIVD featured a four-class configuration with 14 first-class suites, 52 Club World flatbeds, 36 World Traveller Plus seats and 235 World Traveller seats. G-CIVD’s service came to an end in March 2020 when it was taken out of service due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 18 August 2020, it embarked on its final flight from London Heathrow to Castellón, Spain, to be scrapped there. Each key ring is a unique relic of aviation history, crafted from genuine aluminium from the Boeing 747’s aircraft skin.
