The shiny Ballistic nylon is a polyurethane-coated nylon fabric, which is characterized by high functionality. It is among other things water repellent and extremely resistant to abrasion.

Canvas

The term canvas is usually a synonym for linen, but is also frequently used for woven fabrics like flax, hemp or cotton.

Carbon

Carbon is a carbon-fiber reinforced plastic, especially used in aerospace, automotive and high-quality sports equipment.

Cuerolight

Cuerolight is the name for lambskins whose wool will be combed, ironed and shorn even though the hair is still easily lured.

Curlylamm

These are baby lamb skins whose initial unshorn first wool is left with its natural curls.

Curv

Curv is a new plastic that 100 % consists of polypropylene. It combines a high impact strength with weight savings of up to 50 % and a high weather resistance. The material is generally considered to be environmentally friendly.

Daypack

A Daypack is known as a generally simple but fashionable backpack without a supporting frame.

Den

Denier - short form: den - is a measurement to gauge the thickness or the fineness of a yarn. International the term denier is increasingly detached by the measurement unit tex.

Dichtlippe

A sealing lip is used to protect zipper and seams additionally. It will protect the luggage before the ingress of water during heavy rain.

DIN 58 124

The DIN 58124 is a norm. It defines the requirements for road safety, serviceability and physical design of school satchels. It specifies that at least 20 percent of the visible surface have to be fluorescent material und ten percent of the front and sides have to be of retroreflecting materials.

Dobby

Dobby is the brand name of an internationally used polyester-nylon.

Duroplex

Duroplex is the brand name of a plastic material that is extremely insensitive and durable.

GS

The GS mark is a seal for tested safety based on the equipment and product safety law. The TÜV Rheinland is a recognized testing house, which has the authorization to award the GS mark after the safety audit has taken place.

Hard side suitcases or trolleys are often made of a break-proof ABS synthetic material.

Hirschleder

Deerskin is a very exclusive suede with outstanding properties such as suppleness and a very individual look.

A homage is a public tribute to a person or thing that is revered.

Hybrid-Technologie

In general a hybrid system is a combination of two technologies. The term hybrid accentuates that something is composed of different materials or processes.

Jacquards are drapery or woven materials with a richly patterned mesh structure. The various motifs are highlighted by the contrast of warp sateen and weft satin.

The grain pattern is the hair side of leather – the original skin surface. In general the term grain pattern describes however the nature-left or impressed surface texture of leather.
